This policy applies to the Clerk Bit website, client, and cloud management service. It explains what we collect and how we use and protect it.

2. Information we collect

Account information (name, email, company), usage information (sign-in, tasks, error logs), and support information you provide. Files and credentials in the client stay on your machine unless you upload them or enable cloud features.

3. How we use it

To provide and improve the service, authenticate users, enforce permissions, meter usage, troubleshoot, and support customers. We do not use your files for model training.

4. Sharing and processors

We do not sell or share personal information except as required by law or authorized by you. When using third-party models or connectors, we send only the data needed for that request.

5. Retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, then handle it according to law and contract. You control local data on your machine.

6. Security

We use tenant isolation, access control, encrypted transport, and audit trails. No environment is absolutely secure; please also protect your accounts and devices.

7. Your rights

You may access, correct, or delete personal information, or withdraw consent. Deleting some information may affect the service.
