What a Skill is

A Skill is a structured description of how work gets done: when to use it, inputs, steps, checks, and outputs. Digital workers load Skills on demand instead of re-learning the process every time.

Local Skills

Local Skills live on your machine and suit personal processes that are still evolving.

  • View them on the Skills page.
  • Edit, delete, or export them.
  • Local Skills are not uploaded by default; publish or share when you are ready.

Marketplace

The marketplace is maintained by the platform and organized by finance, legal, HR, engineering, data, and office work.

  • Install a Skill to use it in tasks.
  • Visibility depends on role policies.
  • Marketplace Skills are versioned and traceable across upgrades.

Record a Skill

If a process already runs on your computer, record it to generate a draft Skill:

  1. Start recording and perform the steps normally.
  2. Stop recording; the system organizes steps and inputs/outputs.
  3. Review and edit, then save as a local Skill.
  4. Submit for review when you want to share it.

Review and publishing

Publishing to the marketplace requires review:

  • A client claims and executes the review task.
  • The review must pass independent verification before publishing.
  • A fail returns it for changes with reasons.

Role-based access

Administrators decide which roles can use which Skills. Unauthorized Skills do not appear in tasks and cannot be called directly.

Sync

Personal Skills sync to the cloud after sign-in; local-only Skills are not uploaded. Sign in on another machine to restore synced Skills.
